trace is a collection of 8 poems exploring themes of loss, love, and their entanglements. The title trace can mean outline, an impression of a body, a remnant of what once was, or a small piece of evidence. Including chemigrams created for each poem using honey, developer, and fixer on silver gelatin paper. The process of creating the images is experimental and left much up to chance.
